Linda Stewart
Board Chair
Linda Stewart has extensive experience in the nonprofit, health care and government sectors. She is skilled in program management, resource development, and leadership training to achieve impactful results for community members. Linda is a graduate of Fisk University and the University of San Francisco.
Audrey Hipkins
Treasurer
Audrey Hipkins is a technology executive and entrepreneur with more than 30 years in the industry who believes passionately in service and activism. For 20 years, she has provided strategic guidance and technical expertise to several arts, athletic and education nonprofits as treasurer and board chair. Audrey has an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business and a BS in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from MIT.


Carolyn Hipkins
Secretary
Carolyn Hipkins is a contract management analyst for a federal government agency. She is also an associate pastor at the First Baptist Church of Glenarden where she serves with the online campus. She is expeienced with nonprofit formation and management having started one at another church. Carolyn has an M.Div. from Wesley Theological Seminary and a BA in English from Rutgers University.

Timothy Hajj
Board Member
Timothy Hajj is a security consultant, project manager and retired law enforcement officer.
Tim's diverse background also includes experience in the clean up and restoration industry where he has led project teams to restore damaged residential and commercial properties including historic buildings.


Julian Hipkins III
Board Member
Julian Hipkins III serves as the NAF Academy Director at Theodore Roosevelt High School in Washington, D.C. Julian earned his Bachelor of Arts in History from Morehouse College and his Master of Arts in Teaching from American University. He lives in DC with his wife and two daughters.
Ken Hipkins
Board Member
Ken Hipkins, an independent photographer, has produced fine art, portrait, wedding, and editorial photography for more than five decades. Ken's work includes capturing the changing urban landscape of his Northern New Jersey birthplace and Washington, DC where he resides. Knowing the impact of documenting history through images, Ken has been photographing and preserving old photos which tell the story of the Lawtons and theTreadwell Street community from the 1800s until today.


Susan M. Wolfe, PhD
Board Member
Susan has been a community psychologist and evaluator for over 37 years. For the past 15 years she has been serving as a CEO and Community Consultant in her own company, Susan Wolfe and Associate, where she provides services to national and local nonprofits, universities, foundations, governmental organizations, and coalitions. She has been married to Charles Hipkins for 17 years and is honored to serve as a board member.
